ANNOUNCING GREENSTOCK 2009: A Benefit Concert for Peace and Sustainability WHAT IS IT?
A fundraising concert to benefit the Earth, promoted by Double Tee Concerts, out of Portland, Oregon.
WHO DOES IT BENEFIT? Three statewide Oregon non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations were chosen as beneficiaries: Oregon PeaceWorks, Siskiyou Project and Nanish Shontie. The proceeds from the event itself are devoted to the important work the organizations are doing. To help make Greenstock happen, please click here. THE ENTERTAINMENT We're looking into like-minded artists Neil Young and Bonnie Raitt to headline the show. Already confirmed are Northwest blues legend Curtis Salgado, Portland indie rocker Miriam's Well, and acoustic conscious folk singer/songwriter Cassandra Robertson. Greenstock anticipates notable speakers including Tribal Elders, with tabling opportunities available for many causes and groups.
